Medicare 101 -Medicare Made Simple – Introduction

This is an entry level Medicare planning class which will discuss Medicare Parts A, B, C, D, enrollment deadlines, supplemental options, Part D prescription drug coverage, and Medicare out-of-pocket costs and coverage.

If you’re turning 65 within the next 12 months, newly eligible due to a loss of group or retiree coverage, or eligible due to Social Security disability, this class is for you. It is taught in easy-to-understand terms. Making the right choices (particularly when you are first eligible) could save you hundreds to thousands of dollars over your lifetime.

Medicare 201 - Medicare Made Simple - Refresher and Intermediate
6:30pm-8:00pm at North Rockford Middle School

This is a refresher and intermediate level class which builds on your basic knowledge of Medicare. In greater detail we will discuss the differences between a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medicare Supplement (Medigap), how to select the most cost effective Medicare Part D coverage, how to minimize the Part D coverage gap (donut-hole), and the enrollment options available to people still working or on a retiree health plan.
